About Us

The issues relating to how the Church and, for that matter Christians should relate to the Governing Authorities date back to the time of Jesus when he was obliged to comment on paying taxes to Caesar or not.

His famous response: “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s” is still not fully appreciated by many.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to glorify God by identifying, mobilizing, developing, and deploying godly transformational leaders of integrity to help accelerate the transformation of Ghana and beyond.

Our Vision

A Premier Country Led by Leaders of Integrity on a Sustainable Basis.

Our Mission

Building Leaders of Integrity to Transform Ghana into a Premier Country shaped by God-centered Values, through State-Church partnership.

Both Testaments teach that religion and secular matters should unite in nation-building, as both are under God’s law. Nathan and David exemplify positive engagement, while Elijah and Ahab show a negative example. The church aids national development through the Gospel’s impact on individuals, as a national institution, and through projects like education and health.

Thus, it benefits rulers to involve the church in governance, including explaining state policy and engaging in development projects. Church-State relations in post-independent Ghana have differed across regimes, from poor in the first Republic to more accommodating today.

Our Concept

The history of the church records various degrees of church and state relationships from persecution in the early days through state patronage under Constantine, the Christianization of Western Europe, and the separation of Church and State in many Western countries. The African, however, lives in a religious milieu; thus, the Church/State partnership is a vital subject.
